We invite you to be inspired, to search deeply into the difference between cost and value and consider your perspective and practices regarding “waste” through this exploration of creative material transformation.
At Malama Maui Nui, we aspire to a mindful stewardship of our resources and consider such, a form of gratitude.
"E mahalo kakou i ka mea loa’a." - Let us be thankful for what we have.
For what we have, while it may not cost a lot, is certainly not cheap; most importantly, a healthy relationship with ourselves, healthy relationships with one another and a healthy relationship with our environment. These relationships are not just a privilege, but our kuleana (responsibility) to foster, mend and perpetuate. May we find the courage to look within ourselves for healing and extend that to our community and planet. Enjoy the journey!
