COMMUNITY CLEANUP CAMPAIGN

September 19 - October 2, 2020

Get the Drift and Bag It! is an annual cleanup campaign hosted by Mālama Maui Nui that seeks to empower Maui Nui residents in their environmental stewardship of our island community.

This campaign is in partnership with Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup campaign, which mobilizes communities around the globe to host cleanups, collect litter data, and support science-based solutions for a healthy earth and it's oceans.

OCEAN-FRIENDLY CAR WASH

July 1 - September 30, 2020

Mālama Maui Nui has been chosen as the third quarter beneficiary of Ohana Fuels’ ‘Fuel Up. Do Good.’ Program. Through this program, Ohana Fuels partners with and donates to nonprofit organizations serving the needs of the local community. From July 1 – September 30, 2020, a portion of the proceeds from every gallon of gasoline purchased at Ohana Fuels locations on Maui will be donated to Mālama Maui Nui! Join us for our Ocean-Friendly Car Wash fundraisers on Saturday, July 11 and Saturday, August 8 from 8:00am – 12:00noon at the Minit Stop/Ohana Fuels location at 85 S Wakea Avenue in Kahului. The car washes will feature techniques that use fewer pollutants and prevent toxins from running into storm drains. For a suggested donation of $10 per car, you can support Mālama Maui Nui and it’s many programs directly benefitting you and our local community.
